We are excited to introduce Ride Clean Mass—a first-of-its-kind program designed to make electric vehicles (EVs) accessible for Vehicle-for-Hire (VFH) drivers! At yesterday’s launch event, VFH drivers test-drove EVs and learned about the environmental and cost-saving benefits of going electric. 🚗⚡️ How does Ride Clean Mass work? The program offers: VFH-Own: Rebates up to 6,500towardbuyinganewEVor6,500 toward buying a new EV or 6,500towardbuyinganewEVor2,500 for a used EV. VFH-Rent: 100/weekforEVrentals,uptofourweeks.Driverscanalsolayertheserebateswithotherincentives,includingMassachusetts′MOR−EVProgramandtheFederalEVTaxCredit,whichmeanssavingsof100/week for EV rentals, up to four weeks. Drivers can also layer these rebates with other incentives, including Massachusetts' MOR-EV Program and the Federal EV Tax Credit, which means savings of 100/weekforEVrentals,uptofourweeks.Driverscanalsolayertheserebateswithotherincentives,includingMassachusetts′MOR−EVProgramandtheFederalEVTaxCredit,whichmeanssavingsof10,000 or more for eligible drivers! We’re grateful to our partners at the Massachusetts Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs, Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP), Department of Public Utilities, MassDevelopment, CALSTART, Green Energy Consumers Alliance, and the Edwin C. Gentzler Translation Center for helping us build a cleaner transportation future for everyone in Massachusetts.
