With Congress back from recess, MGMA sent leadership a letter outlining must-pass legislative priorities for the lame-duck session, including: ➡️averting the 2.8% cut to Medicare physician payment and providing a positive update for 2025 ➡️passing prior authorization reform ➡️extending telehealth flexibilities, and ➡️extending the 1.0 physician work GPCI floor #MGMAAdvocacy Read letter: bit.ly/3O3P7vt
In addition to major payment implications, CMS' recently-released 2025 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule final rule includes changes to MIPS and APM participation options for the new year. MGMA will provide a more detailed analysis of the final changes to physician payment policies and the QPP in the coming weeks.
