Let's give a warm Mustang Seeds welcome to our newest college intern, Dawson Seim! Hailing from Watertown, SD, Dawson just completed his sophomore year at South Dakota State University in Brookings, where he's majoring in Agronomy with a minor in Precision Agriculture. When we asked Dawson about his agricultural inspirations, he didn't hesitate to mention Zach Johnson, also known as the Millennial Farmer. Dawson shared, "My favorite figure is Zach Johnson, also known as Millennial Farmer. He has inspired my work at Mustang because he is very family-oriented like Mustang and has opened my eyes to the ag world even more." Dawson's passion for agriculture and his admiration for figures like Zach Johnson align perfectly with our values here at Mustang Seeds. When asked about his favorite aspect of Mustang Seeds' approach to agriculture, River shared, "My favorite aspects of Mustang Seeds and its approach to agriculture is the fact that Mustang Seeds is a family-oriented company that takes pride in and stands behind the products that they provide to their customers. Mustang Seeds takes a detailed approach to help their producers select and obtain the highest quality seed to be applied to their acres." River's energy and focus during those long days are fueled by his favorite snacks. Sunflower seeds keep him sharp during those lengthier drives, while beef jerky and candy bars provide the sustenance needed for the long days spent in the field. Hailing from Oacoma, SD, River is currently pursuing his studies in Agronomy and Business at Mitchell Tech, with plans to graduate in the Spring of 2025. Welcome back, River! Let's extend a warm welcome to our newest additions to the Mustang Seeds Production team: Brock Olson and Dylan Gerdes! These bright sophomores from Madison High School are already proving to be valuable assets to our team. Brock loves a good slice of pizza. Outside of work, you can find him hitting home runs on the baseball field, showcasing his passion for the sport. Dylan, on the other hand, has a taste for prime rib. When he's not indulging in his favorite meal, he's out pounding the pavement, enjoying the freedom and exhilaration of running. With their unique talents and interests, Brock and Dylan are sure to make waves as they transition to full-time roles this summer.
