The National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) is an organization of journalists, students and media-related professionals that provides quality programs and services to and advocates on behalf of black journalists worldwide. Founded by 44 men and women on December 12, 1975, in Washington, D.C., NABJ is the largest organization of journalists of color in the nation. Each year, NABJ awards nearly $100,000 in scholarships and internships to college and high school students nationwide, as well as fellowships for seasoned professionals. The NABJ Media Institute provides professional development and technical training for black journalists at venues across the country. NABJ is headquartered on the campus of the University of Maryland-College Park.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Campaigns, this role will assist with the creation of multi-channel campaign materials, editing and reviewing content, and collecting and reporting data on campaign effectiveness. Some tasks include: * Assist in the creation of communications plans to achieve specific goals and objectives for campaigns to reach AAP members, other clinicians, and parent audiences. * Collaborate with staff teams to create multimedia content, social media, web content, newsletters, educational content, and other campaign related materials. * Write, edit, and review content to reach campaign goals and objectives ensuring accuracy, message alignment, and communications effectiveness. * Facilitate team meetings to ensure timely execution of campaign deliverables. * Coordinate with partner organizations and sponsors, as needed. * Collect campaign data and key performance metrics for campaign activities to evaluate effectiveness as it pertains to defined goals and objectives. * Create reports of campaign activities to track progress of deliverables. * Assist with other campaign-related projects as assigned. * Perform all other duties as assigned.
