Nabors Rig X37 recently achieved an impressive 18.1-day spud to rig release, drilling at an average rate of 1,254 feet per day for the operator. This marks X37's fastest well and the second fastest footage per day in the Haynesville Basin. Alongside the crew’s expertise, SmartDRILL® process automation, SmartSLIDE® automated slide drilling, AutoDAS® ROP optimizer and Nabors remote steering services enabled by SmartNAV® directional guidance system streamlined operations. SmartPLAN® Rig Execution Engine boosts operational efficiency by improving well cycle times and reducing flat times. A major operator in the Permian Basin achieved an average flat time reduction of 2.4 days per well from pad to pad.
