In the Nexus Rise Program, our interdisciplinary teams specialize in treating severe brain injury, which is characterized by: Unconsciousness exceeding 24 hours No sleep/wake cycle during loss of consciousness Signs of injury that appear on neuroimaging tests For those with severe brain injuries, it takes time to regain consciousness and begin actively participating in rehabilitation therapy.
