We are hiring for a Data Analytics Intern Job Description Summary: We are actively seeking an analytical and highly motivated Intern to join our dynamic team at a pivotal moment in our growth. The ideal candidate will possess an impressive educational background from renowned institutions, combined with robust technical skills and financial knowledge. Specialization in data science, statistics, or mathematics is vital for success in this role, along with proficiency in analytical tools like Power BI, as the role demands substantial data analysis and visualization tasks. The selected candidate will have the unique opportunity to work directly with the Founder and CEO as well as the Product Management team. You will engage in advanced Proof of Concept projects that focus on data analytics and the development of AI models. This role offers the chance to contribute significantly to our strategic initiatives and to gain invaluable experience at the intersection of technology and finance. Employment Type: Internship with possibility of a full-time position Job Location: Flexible; candidates located in Austin, TX a plus. Salary Offered: Successful candidate will be offered a stipend. Qualification: Working towards a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics/statistics Experience: 0-1 Year Job Responsibilities: ● Strong Knowledge of Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing and Business Architecture. ● Excellent understanding of Data services, Data ETL using SQL query tools and applications. ● Experience in conducting GAP analysis, SWOT analysis, Risk analysis and Cost/Benefit analysis. ● Work closely with project stakeholders, SMEs, staff to understand the requirements and specifications for new applications along with re-engineering the existing application. ● Utilize advanced statistical and mathematical techniques to extract insights from complex datasets. ● Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making. ● Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement. ● Design and implement dashboards and reports using Power BI to visualize key metrics and performance indicators. ● Provide actionable recommendations based on data-driven insights to drive business growth and efficiency. ● Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in data analytics, finance, and technology. Requirements: ● Working towards a degree from a top-tier institution in a relevant field (e.g., Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, etc.). ● Advanced degree (e.g., Master’s, MBA) preferred. ● Strong background in data science, statistics, and mathematics, with demonstrated proficiency in quantitative analysis. ● Expertise in data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms. ● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
