I’m proud to congratulate our 2024 Kloster Visionary Award winner: Sara Blakeslee, Director, Marketing Database & Technology and key member of the Digital Experience Team under Kellay Buckelew. Sara led an enterprise strategic project and has been hailed as a superstar for her exceptional leadership from start to finish, delivering outstanding results. She spearheaded the Customer Data Platform project for Marketing activations, successfully transitioning our database from a third-party vendor to an in-house solution—a monumental task with numerous challenges. Her exceptional management of the transfer, always being available to answer questions, ensured a seamless and informative transition for the Digital Experience team and our entire company. This year’s remarkable team, spanning three departments— I.T. Network & Satellite Services, Vessel Operations and Commercial Operations —has been recognized for their outstanding work on the #Starlink Project. Under the expert guidance of Maikel Miranda, Andrew DeBake, Martin Hegarty and Cameron Lee, this team has transformed a stagnant and underperforming satellite environment into a model of efficiency and effectiveness. Their dedication to driving the new Starlink implementation across our fleet has significantly enhanced the performance and reliability of our onboard Internet connectivity. Here’s a look at a few of the activities that brought our team and guests together in support of this important cause. 💖 PortMiami in Pink: Norwegian Cruise Line's terminal at PortMiami was brilliantly lit up in pink as a glowing tribute to all those affected by breast cancer. 💖 Pink Out Days at Sea: Regent Seven Seas Cruises partnered with the American Cancer Society to support its amazing work in improving the lives of cancer patients and their families. To raise awareness, our incredible crew hosted special Pink Out Days on board, where guests put on pink attire and enjoyed themed drinks and treats. 💖 Shoreside Pink Out Day: Our team showed up in style, sporting all shades of pink in a unified display of encouragement. From our offices in Sydney to Belize and everywhere in between, our team’s commitment to spreading awareness spanned the globe. We are proud to stand with our community, team, and partners to raise awareness and make a difference.
