π Are you ready, kids (and adults, too?!) π In October, The Wendy's Company launched the βKrabby Patty Kollab,β which features two new menu items celebrating the 25th anniversary of βSpongeBob SquarePants.β Numerator surveyed verified buyers of these items to gain insight into consumer sentiment around the βkollab.β π 41% of buyers plan to purchase the Krabby Patty Kollab meal again, while 38% said they might purchase again. 79% of buyers said they enjoyed the look and taste of the Krabby Patty. Consumer Sentiment https://www.numerator.com - π Consumers in urban areas and the Western U.S. are encountering merchandise lock-ups more frequently than other consumers. π§ 35% of Western consumers say they encounter locked products almost every time they shop and 30% of urban consumers say the same. Over half of shoppers in some major Western metro areas report high levels of product locking: ποΈ Riverside-San Bernardino-Ontario metro area (54%) ποΈ Las Vegas-Henderson-Paradise (51%) ποΈ Los Angeles-Long Beach-Anaheim (45%) Metro areas with the lowest levels of reported product locking are: ποΈ Cleveland-Elyria (5%) ποΈ Cincinnati (9%) ποΈ Pittsburgh (11%) ποΈ Columbus (13%) ποΈ Austin-Round Rock (13%) Rural shoppers are more likely to report locks on electronics (62%) and physical media (41%), while urban shoppers are more likely to encounter them on personal hygiene products (41%), makeup (37%), and bath & body products (22%). Unlocking Shopper Reactions to Secured Products https://www.numerator.com - Walgreens recently announced the closure of 1,200 stores across the United States. π§ In response, Numerator issued a quick pulse survey to 500 people with verified Walgreens purchases in the past six months to better understand how they feel about the closures and where they plan to shift their spend. ποΈ The top items that Walgreens shoppers reported purchasing are over-the-counter medications (56% of buyers), personal care items (50%), prescription medications (44%), grocery items (26%), and vaccinations (19%). π€§ Of the buyers who said they purchased OTC meds at Walgreens, 59% said they view other drug stores as a direct substitute in place of Walgreens, followed by mass retailers (55%) and grocery stores (34%). π Of the buyers who said they used Walgreens for their prescription needs, 56% of those buyers said they view other drug stores as a direct substitute in place of Walgreens, followed by mass retailers (30%), grocery stores (28%), online pharmacies (20%), and independent / local pharmacies (17%). π©Ί Specifically, shoppers who get their prescriptions filled at Walgreens said they would shift to CVS (53%), Walmart (30%), other pharmacies (14%), Target (14%), and Costco (12%).#Numerator #consumersurvey #Walgreens
