Kurt has been an integral part of NV5's success in growing its geospatial business, most frequently serving as SVP of Geospatial Sales. As President, Kurt will lead a company strongly positioned to thrive and build on its achievements. Kurt Allen has spent more than 30 years in leadership positions in the geospatial industry. He joined NV5 with their acquisition of Quantum Spatial, Inc., where Kurt led the Federal Vertical Team responsible for providing geospatial solutions to federal government agencies, including United States Geological Survey (USGS), NOAA, BOEM, BLM, and the Army Corps of Engineers. NV5’s Las Vegas Planning & Design team designed the electrical and lighting systems for the Kiel Ranch Park expansion and renovation project in the City of North Las Vegas. The design included new lighting systems for the parking lot, pathways and shade shelter. This park is very unique in that it has a natural artesian pond springing up in this urbanized desert area. This latest phase extends the internal park pathways from the boardwalk area that we designed previously to the northernmost boundary of the park.
