The Stryker ICVVA1-30mm lethality upgrade program is on target for First Unit Equipped in early 2025. Throughout 2024, the system performed well during Production Verification Testing at Aberdeen Test Center. In May, Soldiers performed gunnery and force-on-force exercises during the Follow-on Operational Test and Evaluation at Yakima Training Center. The ICVVA1-30mm will replace the predecessor ICVD “Dragoon” vehicle, providing much needed upgrades to decade-old technology. The ICVVA1-30mm offers several improvements, including improved firepower, increased engagement stand-off distances, improved day/night optics, and situational awareness. The ICVVA1-30mm also utilizes the modern base chassis DVHA1, which provides increased horsepower, electrical power, mobility and an in-vehicle network. The Army’s SBCT formations highly anticipate the arrival of the ICVVA1-30mm. #beallyoucanbe #armymodernization #SBCT
