PDCM formed after two successful insurance agencies (Vaughan, Pedersen & McCausland Insurance, Inc. and Brown and Dieckman Insurance Agency) merged more than 90 years ago. PDCM (Pedersen, Dowie, Clabby & McCausland) has earned a reputation as a professional agency that can meet all of your personal and professional insurance needs. Medical debt is real, and expensive. Dollar For is a non-profit organization helping patients significantly reduce or eliminate their hospital charges through coordination of facility charity care programs. This week I talked with a member who had received unfortunate news from recent tests results yet their primary concern was "how will I pay for this?" -- not a single question about will my health insurance cover it or where can I go. By the end of our phone call after having shared about Dollar For, the member said "I'll get my appointments made and explore options for financial assistance" with confidence and actionable next steps.
