Porsche Cars North America is announcing today that Meike Ludewig has been named Vice President, Area West. She replaces Trevor Arthur who moved to the role of President and CEO, Porsche Cars Canada last month. “Meike has done an outstanding job and will be missed at our One Porsche Drive headquarters,” said John Cappella, Executive Vice President and COO at Porsche Cars North America. “I am convinced she will thrive on the opportunities this role allows.” Meike began her career at Porsche at global headquarters in Zuffenhausen. Porsche Cars North America Honors U.S. Military Veterans at Porsche and in the Greater Atlanta Community We proudly welcomed U.S. military veterans and special guests from the community to our headquarters and Porsche Experience Center Atlanta. “I want to extend a sincere thank you to everyone who came together for this year’s Veterans Day event, especially those who served in the U.S. Armed Forces,” said George Feygin, VP of Legal and Chief Legal counsel at Porsche Cars North America. “We were honored to host the Honor Guard from Woodward Academy, members of the Delta Air Lines Delta TechOps and Veterans BRG, along with Porsche team members and their guests who have served. Each year I am reminded of the significant sacrifices made by our veterans and their loved ones who give their time and talents to uphold the freedoms we enjoy as a nation.” To all who have served, thank you – we salute you on this Veterans Day. In observing Veteran’s Day, guests also heard a special message from U.S. Army veteran, Wylette W., Ph.D., on the Power of the Team. Four decades ago, Dr. Anna Lee Fisher established her medical career and rewarded herself with a Porsche 911 Turbo – finished in Garnet Red; her dream car. And yet one she would soon say goodbye to in order to pursue a new career, a new dream, and a different kind of flying machine … On 8th November 1984, precisely 40 years ago, Dr. Fisher – one of the first U.S. women in space, and the first mother – launched on Shuttle Discovery for Mission STS-51A – a journey lasting seven days and covering three million miles, during which she captured two satellites in her role as Mission Specialist. Fast forward to 2024, and on an airfield in Houston, my colleague Shelby Akin reunited Dr. Fisher with a 911 for the first time since she parted ways with her treasured Turbo all those years ago. Driven Women at Porsche were on the move in October to celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness, and we had some help from Porsche team members coast-to-coast! For the second year in a row, our Driven Women BRG, led by Kathryn Henson and Victoria Hendricks, partnered with PCNA's Marketing team under the leadership of Ayesha Coker, in support of our community partners at Delta Air Lines for their annual employee event benefiting Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF). "Thrilled to celebrate the efforts of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) alongside Delta Air Lines at this special event! Delta’s incredible employees who flew in to share their stories reminds us that this celebration is about more than just partnerships; it’s about empowering one another and celebrating our journeys," shared Ayesha Coker, PCNA's VP of Marketing. Congratulations to Joni Bolton from Delta Air Lines who was the lucky recipient of a pair of Porsche Experience Center vouchers. Save the manuals! The 911 Carrera T is back in its third modern iteration, and for the first time it’s available exclusively with a six-speed manual. New for this generation, the Carrera T is also available in both Coupe and a Cabriolet form. Since its introduction in 2017, the 911 Carrera T followed a formula inspired by the 911 T that launched in 1968: fewer luxuries, less weight in the name of performance. Both versions can be ordered now, and are expected in U.S. Porsche Centers next Summer with an MSRP of 134,000fortheCoupeand134,000 for the Coupe and 134,000fortheCoupeand147,300 for the cabriolet. For 25 years the #911GT3 has combined motorsport technology and day-to-day usability to create one of the most engaging sports cars in the world. Today Porsche Cars North America is proud to unveil two versions of the new 911 GT3 model – launching simultaneously for the first time: a track-focused sports car with a rear wing and a more understated version with a Touring Package. The new Porsche 911 GT3 and 911 GT3 with Touring Package can be ordered starting at the end of the year, and are expected to reach US Porsche Centers in Summer 2025.
