Big things are happening at COP29! 🌱 Today, Margaret (Peggy) Murphy, Ph.D., Global VP of Sustainability took part in a panel discussion with other industry leaders on empowering companies to decarbonize their supply chains and also introduced the new 'book and claim' registry, 'Katalist'. Katalist allows cargo owners to access low-emission transport and helps shipping companies recover their investments in decarbonization technologies. It was developed by The Mærsk Mc-Kinney Møller Center for Zero Carbon Shipping and RMI in collaboration with 29 organizations across the value chain. The registry enables freight customers to receive transparent information about the savings they’ve obtained in a consistent, auditable format across multiple carriers. Katalist also sets strict criteria, ensuring every token booked on the registry corresponds to low-emission fuels used during a voyage. 💚 Stay tuned for more news from this exciting space! 🚢🍃 Today, PSA BDP proudly joins industry leaders across the maritime value chain to call for faster and bolder action to increase uptake of scalable zero and near-zero emission fuel (SZEF), investment in SZEF-enabled vessels, port upgrades, and global development of green hydrogen infrastructure that leaves no country behind. ✅ Organized by RMI, the UN High-Level Climate Champions, UCL Energy Institute, and the United Nations Foundation, this Call to Action demonstrates strong industry momentum to invest in decarbonization through scalable zero-emission fuel pathways. Clearly defined regulation is needed to strengthen the business case to complement and amplify industry momentum to reduce emissions. ⌛️To speed up the adoption of hydrogen-derived fuels, we need clear, ambitious mid-term measures, a balanced approach to revenue distribution to help bridge the cost gap between fossil fuels and scalable zero-emission fuels (SZEFs), and evidence that key milestones for practical use of SZEFs are advancing. PSA BDP Houston Goes Pink for a Great Cause 🩷 PSA BDP Houston raised $500 in support of breast cancer awareness throughout the month of October! Additionally, on October 23, the office held a "Pink Out" day, where everyone came together to wear pink in honor of breast cancer fighters, survivors, and the ongoing efforts to find a cure. The event was not only a show of solidarity but also a reminder of the importance of early detection and education. Everyone joined in by wearing their brightest pink attire and supporting the cause. Whether through donations or simply spreading awareness, the collective effort helped raise critical funds to support breast cancer research and patient care. A big thank you to everyone who participated and donated! Your support helps make a real difference in the fight against breast cancer. Together, we are stronger, and our efforts continue to spread hope and raise awareness for a future without breast cancer. 🫶

Verkor, a French EV battery producer, is building the largest gigafactory in Europe to accelerate the production of low-carbon batteries for a decarbonized future.🔋 This partnership advances our mission to develop the regional EV industry and highlights PSA BDP’s role as a leading global logistics provider in the North France region.🤝 Additionally, in a move towards sustainability, PSA BDP, Verkor, and Groupe BOGAERT - Transports & Logistique Dunkerque have successfully implemented the first use case of e-trucks in Hauts-De-France. This milestone marks the start of an electrified supply chain network in the region, demonstrating our commitment to green innovation and a sustainable future.🌍

Our LATAM team reached a milestone in sustainable logistics by introducing our first 100% electric vehicles to Colombia’s main agricultural areas. These eco-friendly trucks are operated together with PSA BDP and are already cutting CO2 emissions by 15%, improving air quality one mile at a time. ⛅ Once all three of our trucks hit the road, they’ll prevent 150 tons of CO2 emissions annually, equivalent to planting 6,700 trees, all while delivering crop protection products and helping our farmers do their part. We’re committed to reducing emissions throughout our supply chain as we work towards our sustainable operations goals.
