In 2021 Redi.Health was founded with a simple goal: Empower patients to take control of and contribute to their health journey. We believe that when it comes to healthcare, the patient is often forgotten and left to navigate the overwhelming world of healthcare on their own. To fix this problem we developed Redi.Health. Redi puts more simplified tools in the hands of patients than ever before and creates novel pathways of connectivity to the support and resources patients wouldn’t otherwise have access to. It’s simple – we believe in patients and giving them the tools to take control of their health.

Redi.Health is always growing and changing and so am I. Sitting down with Callan Harrington to talk about Redi’s early days and journey to now was a great way to pause and reflect. Callan does a great job of pulling the “why” and tactical “how” out of our conversation. While my advice is by no means a complete playbook, I believe our conversation illustrates a strong framework to build from. Redi is certainly not done building on it. Always optimizing, always changing - I hope you all enjoy this one. I absolutely did!

Great founders don’t settle on bringing just anyone into their companies. This is even more important in the early stages. The cost of a bad hire is enormous. My guest, Luke Buchanan, said it best on That Worked… “The attitude within the organization is that we always try to bring in the right person. We don't just bring in a person because we're feeling understaffed or overworked.” To be clear, at a high-growth company, this can be painful. You are almost always taking on more than you can handle. In my experience, that short-term pain is worth it for the right person. Luke says this about his team, “Every single person is unbelievable. When you get that kind of talent together, then success just follows that” I’ve 100% found this to be the case as well. Instead of linear growth, it becomes exponential.
