- Esteemed New York-based autowriter Jamie Kitman reviews a 1968 Revology Mustang GT 2+2 Fastback in Hagerty media. Kitman sings the praises of the Revology Mustang, noting that the car's structure and suspension display "unheard of rigidity, enabling ride, steering, and handling qualities that bear little resemblance to the original or, at the risk of repeating myself, most restomods. Rattles, creaks, squeaks, and groans—fundamentals of most O.G. Mustangs—are nowhere to be found." As for appearance, Kitman states: "Simply put, the car looks great, and not just on the outside. Finishes are superior, as are seats (made in-house) and door panels. Electronic gauges, which closely ape the originals, look most harmonious, with convincing leather for the dash top and added dark walnut trim on the dash and console that not only looks better than the original Mustang but looks better than most any modern veneer." Kitman says driving the car was "a revelation, for it is fast and relaxing. An endless parade of admirers waved on a 100-mile drive out to Bridgehampton for the tony car show, The Bridge, where Revology held hold court with our loaner car and the outfit’s lovely dark blue 1965 Mustang convertible. (Early cars are all they build.) It all attested, along with a stream of serious inquiries to Scarpello and his crew, to the vehicle’s desirability. Why anyone would buy a $300,000 Bronco when you could have one of these is frankly beyond me." Check out the full article at: https://lnkd.in/e6XbvrGT
Picture Car Confidential #2: Revology 1968 Mustang GT - Hagerty Media hagerty.com - Introducing car #249, a Revology 1966 Mustang Convertible in Gulfstream Aqua Metallic with ivory vinyl interior and Oxford White convertible top. This original ‘68 Mustang color is a great choice, as it complements very well the ivory interior, top, and GT stripe. Sporting our new T-handle shifter and powered by the 2024 Mustang fourth generation Ti-VCT DOHC ‘Coyote’ V8, this fast, reliable pony is a “one of one”…for now

- Introducing Car #223, a Revology 1968 Shelby GT500KR in Stone Grey with Saddle Brown Nappa leather. Stone Grey is an original Porsche color, introduced on the 356 in 1959. Aside from the color, the exterior of #223 is nearly indistinguishable from an original KR, preserving its classic appeal. Notably, this model debuts our new T-handle shifter, a design enhancement that closely resembles the 1960s version. This feature is nowstandard equipment on all Revology Mustangs and Shelby GTs equipped withautomatic transmissions. The T-handle shifter is a great example of the meticulous engineering that is required to properly integrate modern technology with 1960s design. In the video, Tom talks about the development process for the T-handle shifter. https://lnkd.in/gfRvewr4
