About us
Savannah River Mission Completion, LLC (SRMC) has been awarded the Savannah River Site Integrated Mission Completion Contract (SRS IMCC) by U.S Department of Energy’s Office of Environmental Management (DOE EM). SRMC comprises parent company BWX Technologies, Inc. with partners Amentum and Fluor. Critical scope covered under SRS IMCC includes, but is not limited to: Liquid Waste Stabilization/Disposition, and may include Nuclear Materials Management and Stabilization; Project Management and Support Services; Storage of Liquid Radioactive Waste; Remediation, Treatment, and Disposal of Nuclear Materials, Spent Nuclear Fuel; Remediation and Treatment of Contaminated Surface Water, Groundwater and Soils; and, Decontamination of Nuclear Facilities and Equipment. The contract has an estimated ceiling of approximately $21 billion over a 10-year ordering period.

- Savannah River Mission Completion (SRMC), the Savannah River Site liquid waste contractor, donated $1,000 to the Aiken County NAACP Youth Council. The donation was made during the Aiken County Branch of the NAACP 43rd Annual Freedom Fundraising Campaign and 106th Branch Anniversary Celebration. Savannah River Mission Completion Representation and Inclusion Working Group Chair Lee Gause-McNair attended the celebration, and she was inspired by the experience and by the young men and women who comprise the Youth Council. - Savannah River Mission Completion (SRMC), the liquid waste contractor at the Savannah River Site, donated $5,000 to the University of South Carolina Aiken to assist veterans transitioning from the military to college and into the civilian workforce. SRMC and USCA established its alliance that creates a potential employment pipeline through the University’s Office of Veteran and Military Student Success (VMSS) by providing an internship or employment for these students. The donation will be used to host SRMC and VMSS networking and career guidance sessions, advertising, and the overall mission of the VMSS Center. - Savannah River Mission Completion and protégé WesWorks have launched a new apprenticeship program focused on potential project controls—a skill in high demand. The first class is now in session at Aiken Technical College, graduating in May 2025. More at https://lnkd.in/e72Yqbm7
- It’s #NationalHBCUWeek! SRMC is working with a record number of eight Historically Black Colleges and Universities (#HBCU) to build career pipelines. Four of those institutions –Allen University, Benedict College, Claflin University, and South Carolina State University – all opened new doors for their students by partnering to solve real-world problems for SRMC. The seven capstone projects undertaken by the students not only gave them a new appreciation for the work they may encounter in the future, but also provided the Company with an opportunity to see the students work in a year-long interview for an opportunity for future employment.
