📢 Job Opportunity: Learning Experience Designer at SECU SECU is looking for a dynamic Learning Experience Designer to join our team! (Remote, though candidates should live in the DMV & come to Linthicum, MD office 1x per month.) As a Learning Experience Designer, you will design, develop, and deploy blended training programs. You'll collaborate with various stakeholders to create engaging and effective learning solutions through multiple delivery channels, such as ILT, e-learning, micro-learning, videos, and webinars. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and evaluate training materials. - Manage program evaluations and recommend improvements. - Maintain and update existing training materials. - Develop interactive online courses using tools like Articulate 360 Suite and Camtasia. - Support LMS administration and reporting. Qualifications: - B.A./B.S. in Instructional Design, Education, or related field; Master’s preferred. - 5-7+ years in adult education and instructional design. - Experience with LMS and CMS. - Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills. Each year during our Kindness month, SECU chooses a Grand Act of Kindness. This year, we chose to help address food insecurity on Maryland campuses. An estimated one in four students experiences food insecurity. On October 18th, we dropped over 300 pounds of food and essential items gathered from our donation drive to the University of Maryland Dining Services Pantry. We also presented the pantry with a 3,000donationasapartofourgrandactofkindness.OnOctober25th,volunteersjoinedMorganStateUniversity′s9/11MealPackingDaytopackmealkitsforstudentsandsurroundingcommunities.Wealsopresentedthemwitha3,000 donation as a part of our grand act of kindness. On October 25th, volunteers joined Morgan State University's 9/11 Meal Packing Day to pack meal kits for students and surrounding communities. As another act of Kindness, members from SECU's LGBTQ+ ERG visited Baltimore Safe Haven to treat the staff to breakfast for all of their hard work. They also brought in 100 hygiene kits (each of which included shampoo, body wash, toothpaste, shaving cream, soap, toothbrush, comb, and razor), and 250 maxi pads. Since its inception, BSH has grown to become a leading provider of comprehensive support services for TLGBQIA+ individuals in Baltimore. Through its housing programs, BSH provides stable housing solutions and support services to individuals facing homelessness and housing insecurity. The organization has also developed a wide range of programs and services focused on mental health support, physical health coordination, workforce development, legal support, advocacy, and community building. #secukindness
