Skybound holds strategic partnerships across the entertainment industry, and has the in-house capabilities to serve as publisher, producer, and global distributor for tabletop and video games. On screen, Skybound holds a first-look television deal with Amazon Studios and a first-look movie deal with Universal. Additional partnerships include comic book and novel publishing with Image Comics and a first-look narrative audio deal with Audible. I’m incredibly proud to share that I am part of a groundbreaking project: the I AM Campaign, launched on September 23rd at the iconic Nasdaq Tower in Times Square! A huge thank you to We Do It Together, the nonprofit film production company behind this impactful campaign, which aims to amplify the voices and celebrate the individuality of diverse women in the entertainment industry. A special thank you to Nasdaq for supporting We Do It Together. The campaign has started from one of the most important squares in the world, Times Square, NY, and will travel to the most significant places and institutions around the globe. With each stop, we will continue to showcase more incredible women working behind the scenes. Despite ongoing efforts toward gender equality, women remain underrepresented in key creative roles in film. In 2023, women made up only 16% of directors, 26% of producers, 7% of cinematographers, and 12% of composers in the top 250 grossing films in the USA. This is why the I AM Campaign is so important. We’re giving a platform to women from all around the world who play pivotal roles both behind and in front of the camera but often go unnoticed. This campaign celebrates these talented women who are shaping a new narrative for women in media and film. If we don’t see them, they don’t exist. In a world where over 700 million women have been affected by violence, and gender equality is projected to take 300 more years to achieve, this mission is more important than ever. We are committed to changing this trajectory. Together, we’re challenging the culture of objectification and building a future where women can truly thrive. #IAM #WeDoItTogether
