Overworked recruiters repeat the same questions, while candidates endure slow, uncertain processes. Enter Wayfaster. Using advanced voice AI, we’ve built agents that replicate human interviewers, automating everything from question selection to conducting and scoring interviews—while ensuring standardization and a human touch. We got lots of ideas and Qs bout sequencing tech-led buyouts. Buy-then-build feels intuitive, it's wrong for venture. For founders to realize the potential of transformational M&A via a GBO, they need to build transformational software FIRST. https://lnkd.in/eYQtfra2 - Slow Ventures reposted this

For a long time, software was the main lever on progress across many industries. But that time is over. AI has emerged as a new contender, but it overshadows the soon-to-be uncontested winner across most physical-world industries: the automation of human-in-the-loop processes by robotics systems. Various building blocks to make this revolution possible are already there. But many are still missing. Most importantly, founders will have different pathways at their disposal to brute force the adoption of these automation technologies. Carefully assessing these pathways will dictate their chances of success—and the speed and scale at which transformation will unfold. Full post: https://lnkd.in/gfWUh-Ej -

The age of the Software-Led Growth Buyout is Here. Bringing software to industry remains the biggest opportunity for software to orchestrate/accelerate GDP but only if we can work beyond vSaaS biz models and capital structures. Software, not B2B SaaS, will eat the world. Our deck and thesis: https://lnkd.in/ewwiTmaT - Slow Ventures reposted this

The agtech opportunity is too big to ignore but too hard to win. On paper, agtech has all the hallmarks of a great venture bet (massive market, urgent problems, under-penetrated, etc.) but to date ag has been terrible at adopting.
