Stop & Shop has been around for more than 100 years. We started small, as a corner grocery store back in 1914. And we’ve grown…a lot. We have more than 50,000 Associates in 350+ stores throughout Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New York, and New Jersey. Through that change, our values have stayed the same. At Stop & Shop, we’ve made a commitment to making our stores better every day for our associates, our customers, and our communities. It’s our secret recipe for success. Our associates volunteered at Connecticut Children's Foundation’s warehouse in East Hartford and sorted and packed toys, games, and art supplies that will be given to young patients and stock playrooms in the Foundation’s 40+ locations. The Connecticut Children’s Foundation supports Connecticut's only health system dedicated exclusively to the care of children. They do a tremendous job bringing together patient families, donors, community members, philanthropic partners, and others to raise the financial resources needed to invest in people, research, technology and state-of-the-art equipment. We are proud to support the Connecticut Children’s Foundation and their mission to improve the physical, social, and emotional health of children!
In honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Stop & Shop's Multicultural ARG proudly highlights individuals from our market area who, throughout history, have embodied the teachings and character of Dr. King. These remarkable individuals have fought tirelessly for civil rights and equality. Today, we celebrate Dr. King's life and reflect on the profound impact of his legacy. Stop & Shop and CLYNK have announced a new community-based recycling program that will address the need to increase recycling access and sustainability efforts across the state of Connecticut. A Conservation Law Foundation report shows Connecticut's bottle redemption rate is just 45%. By offering the CLYNK Bag Drop program, we're providing a convenient, clean, and fast new way to recycle redeemable beverage containers. The program, which is the first of its kind in the state, officially launched yesterday at our Farmington Ave. store in Bristol, CT, and Bristol Mayor Jeffrey Caggiano joined in the festivities. CLYNK Bag Drop also launched at our Simsbury, CT, store, and we're expected to open three additional locations across the state in the coming months!

And if you need a little extra help to get back on your feet, our Pharmacy services are here for you. From flu shots to over-the-counter remedies, we’ve got everything you need to stay healthy this season.
In December, we announced the rollout of our Savings Station kiosks across our stores, making it easier than ever for our shoppers to save. We are well on our way to installing the coupon kiosks and are anticipated to have the Savings Station in all 350+ Stop & Shop stores by the end of this month! The Savings Station allows shoppers to quickly activate digital coupons and personalized offers without needing a smartphone or internet access. It’s designed to ensure that every customer, especially those who may not be tech-savvy, has access to the same savings. Simply scan your GO Rewards loyalty card or enter your phone number to load your deals – and watch the savings automatically apply at checkout. The Savings Station also offers recipe ideas and fun activities for kids while you shop! This investment reflects our commitment to removing friction and improving the shopping experience. We’re always listening to our customers, and this is just one of the ways we’re making shopping easier and more rewarding for everyone. As we approach the end of 2024, we're proud to share some exciting milestones in our ongoing commitment to enhancing the customer experience at Stop & Shop. We continue to invest in the communities we serve, including with our: 📍 Acton, Massachusetts Grand Opening 📍 Natick, Massachusetts Grand Reopening We listened carefully to what our neighbors wanted, from the products we sell to our environmental impact, and delivering more value in their baskets. Both the #Acton and #Natick locations offer lowered everyday pricing on thousands of items, including national and private label products, as part of a pilot program aimed at delivering more value to our customers. This initiative is part of our broader, multi-year strategy to provide a better shopping experience and greater savings. In addition to lower prices, both stores feature: 🥪 New delis with grab-and-go sandwiches 🍓 25% larger produce departments 🦐 Service counters for fresh seafood 🍕 New prepared foods sections including flatbread pizza stations, hot bars for chicken wings, and in-store sushi made fresh daily 🍰 Expanded assortments in the Bakery, Dairy, and Frozen Foods departments As part of our commitment to sustainability, we’ve also converted all cooking, HVAC, and mechanical equipment in both stores from natural gas to electric, reducing greenhouse gases and carbon emissions. A big thank you to our dedicated associates for their hard work in bringing these updated stores to life to deliver a great shopping experience every day.
