Wilmington, NC… the top pickleball retirement destination? We were surprised too. Finance Buzz released their list of the 11 Great Cities for Pickleball Lovers to Retire In, and while established hotspots like Phoenix, The Villages, and Palm Springs predictably made the cut, it was Wilmington that took the #1 spot. Apparently, the city offers a winning combination of accessible courts and nearby beaches—a perfect mix for some retirees.
