Roger Rhodes, who currently serves as Associate Vice President of Operations for Thomas Hospitals, will take on an expanded role as Administrator of the Thomas Orthopedic Hospital effective immediately. "Roger has been an instrumental leader for Thomas Hospitals since joining our team in September 2023, managing hospital operations for imaging, respiratory, bio med, nutrition and dietary services, environmental services and pharmacy," Greg Rosencrance, M.D., president and CEO of Thomas Hospitals, said. Thanks to generous donations received through the WVU Medicine Thomas Foundation, Thomas Hospitals is now offering shuttle services at our Saint Francis campus, which includes the Thomas Orthopedic Hospital (formerly Saint Francis Hospital), medical office buildings, and the Cagney building (Spine and Nerve Center, MRI and Advanced Women's Imaging). Shuttles run continuous loops Monday through Friday from 7 am to 3:30 pm. It’s National Nurse Practitioner Week (NP Week), and we’re celebrating the critical role of NPs like Tara “Noel” Young-Hodge, NP, APRN, PPCNP-BC. Noel has been an NP since 2000. She has worked in the office of Dr. Gilbert Goliath for 12 years with the goal of helping parents keep their children safe and healthy. Noel's favorite part of the job is teaching and guiding parents to properly and safely carry out recommendations on the care of their children. “Knowing that someone trusts you with the care of their child is very uplifting,” said Noel. “Our children are the most precious thing in our lives.
