Software & Security Engineering Internships are live! Fifteen software engineering interns recently completed their summer internship at Twitch. The 2024 cohort participated in a variety of activities, including pair coding, chocolate making, an Engineering summit, an Alcatraz tour, deejaying for the company All Hands, and in true program tradition, presenting their Kappastone projects at the end of the summer. We had an absolute blast and are lucky to have hosted such talented students. All interns get assigned a bunch of 'buddies': I had lunch buddies, onboarding buddies, even alum buddies from my school. It was great setting up 1/1's with all the members of my team and hearing about the interesting work that they do. Advice to Interns: The Twitch application process stood out to me, because it felt so personable. There were multiple chances to talk to Tom, and ask any questions about the upcoming interviews, timelines, etc. I would take advantage of these opportunities, even if the question is small.
