Last week, all of our Baltimore corporate and distribution house teammates came together to celebrate Armour Day! One of the best days of the year, #ArmourDay is a time for our teammates to join together to make an impact in our Baltimore community and bond with the #sqUAd over food, drinks, live music, fun activities and more! Nearly 1,000 teammates participated in various volunteer efforts across the city as part of our Project Rampart initiative – a partnership with Baltimore City Public Schools designed to elevate the student athlete experience and improve academic outcomes through the power of sport. With support from USA Football, Boys & Girls Clubs of Maryland, Junior Achievement of Central Maryland and Heart of America, we were able to host a flag football skills and drills clinic for high school girls, a sports clinic for students grade 3-5, inspire young people at Junior Achievement, pack pre-game nutrition bags for our Project Rampart athletes, and make improvements to five local schools. Under Armour’s U.S. Rookie Program is a unique 12-week #internship experience that allows students across various majors to dive into real-world projects, collaborate with industry experts, and immerse themselves in the UA brand. The highlight of the program is Rookie Week when we gather all of our U.S. Rookies at UA HQ for an opportunity to hear from our key leaders in person, meet and network with teammates, and participate in valuable skill building workshops, all while getting to experience all that Baltimore has to offer. Hispanic Heritage Month celebrates and honors the rich tapestry of cultures, histories and contributions that Hispanic & Latino communities have woven into the fabric of American society. At Under Armour, we will be celebrating around the theme, "Somos Iguales Pero Diferente", which means "We Are The Same, But Different", highlighting the cultural norms and values that define the Hispanic/Latino experience, along with nuances that make each country/region unique. Throughout the month, we honor the milestones of independence in Latin American countries and the global influence of Hispanic culture. As a kickoff, our Teammate Resource Group UA Latino Alliance (UALA) gathered together for a dynamic panel discussion to celebrate the deep intersectionality of Hispanic and Latino cultures and explore our teammates’ inspiring journeys.#LifeatUA #HispanicHeritageMonth
August was an action-packed month at our APAC Regional Headquarters in Hong Kong! We started with a fun-filled Kids Day featuring the 2024 Under Armour Hong Kong Mini Olympics. Teammates had the opportunity to bring their families to the office for an event with three exciting competitions, six game booths, and a creative art workshop. It was fantastic to see our teammates and young athletes having fun and excelling at the activities! We were honored to have our APAC Managing Director, Jason Archer, launch our 'APAC Know the Business' series! As part of our ongoing efforts to support teammate development, this initiative is designed to strengthen internal connections across the APAC region by providing valuable insights into our business operations and ways to drive professional growth. Our Rookie Program also enjoyed a special networking opportunity during an exclusive working breakfast session and workout with UA leaders. This experience allowed our Rookies to gain inspirational career and industry knowledge to support them in their next step in their personal journey #sqUAd #internship
