Hundreds of thousands of people were forced to flee their homes in #SouthLebanon at a moment’s notice. Roads were completely blocked, leaving families stranded for over 16 hours under the constant threat of shelling and rocket attacks.Jinan Chinder, a UNDP team member, was one of those who faced this traumatic experience alongside her family. Her testimony is a reminder of the extremely difficult conditions our teams face as conflict escalates, and how they continue to provide vital assistance to reduce disaster risks.
