Pride United kicked off the year with our first Member Connect of 2025! It was an amazing opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals and learn about the incredible organizations and opportunities right here in Milwaukee. A huge thank you to Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren s.c. for hosting us and to their CEO Albert Orr for sharing a few words about their support for United Way & the LGBTQ+ Community. Also, a warm welcome to our newest Pride United Council Members: Carla Wynter (not pictured), Matthew Spencer, and Tony Snell Rodriguez! We’d like to invite your Pride BRG/ERG/IRG to our next event. If you are part of an LGBTQ+ Resource Group, please reach out to me or one of our Cochairs, Angela, Justin, or Micah! We would love to welcome your group to our next networking event. 🌈✨- +3

Last week, Pride United met at Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren s.c. overlooking beautiful Downtown Milwaukee for our council meeting and member connect with the community. We're focused on addressing the issues that disproportionately affect our LGBTQ+ community, particularly homelessness and housing insecurity--an issue that far too many of us understand personally. I'm personally grateful to co-chair this group alongside the amazing Justin Roby, MS and Angela Quigley! Thank you to Diamond, Nancy, and the rest of the team at the United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha County for prioritizing collaboration, allyship, and advocacy so our broader community can thrive! - United Way's 15th Annual Technology United CIO Forum is happening Friday, March 14 at 7:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m. at The Pfister Hotel. It's also Pi Day! Connect with a diverse group of CIOs / CISOs and other technology professionals in the Greater Milwaukee Area about key technology trends and strategies and learn about ways you can make an impact in community by partnering with Technology United. This half-day experience includes a breakfast, CIO / CISO panels, and a round table discussion with many built-in opportunities to network. Register now and bring a friend! Sponsorship opportunities are also available until February 11. Learn more here:https://lnkd.in/gJ6UcsRa
