About us
"WE WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU" That statement of assurance, first spoken in 1942 by the Sisters of St. Joseph, represents both our history and our mission. It was our undertaking then, and it is still our promise today. Our name embodies what we provide. For those struggling with chemical dependency, mental or behavioral health concerns, or recovering from trauma, our dedicated staff of professionals provide hope. For youth, families, and adults, we provide integrated behavioral health treatment, both residential and outpatient; community-based services, case management, and mental health programs; community and residential school; group homes, residential treatment, including our community apartment program; and Work Based Learning. The Villa serves Genesee, Livingston, Monroe, Ontario, Orleans, and Wayne counties. No one will be denied access to services due to inability to pay; and there is a discounted/sliding fee schedule available based on family size and income.

- Happy Nurse Practitioner Week! Villa NPs, we appreciate each and every one of you for the vital work you do! NP Week was founded in 2004 by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners to honor the contributions NPs make to the healthcare industry and community. The week is celebrated annually in November and is recognized by a proclamation from the U.S. Congress. NP Week is a time to recognize the important role NPs play in healthcare, and to highlight their contributions to improving patient outcomes and access to care. It's also a time to remind lawmakers of the need to remove barriers to practice so NPs can provide care to the full extent of their education and experience.
- Villa of Hope salutes our Veterans. Thank you for your service!
- Last week, the Villa School gym buzzed with excitement as 23 students and staff -- on two teams -- gathered for a spirited "mat ball" tournament organized by the PBIS staff. (PBIS, an integral part of our educational philosophy, stands for Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports) All other school staff and students were in attendance as spectators. Mat ball, a fast-paced game that combines elements of baseball and kickball, brought out the competitive energy in everyone! Each play brought roars of excitement and cheers from teammates. With swift kicks, daring slides, and high-fives all around, it was clear that the players’ enthusiasm set the tone for the day. The game not only provided a burst of energy and friendly competition but also showcased the sportsmanship and school community spirit that PBIS aims to foster. Teamwork and a bit of friendly rivalry are all it takes to bring people together! #VillaProud

- "Diwali teaches us that no matter how deep the night, dawn will always break." Diwali, also called Deepavali or the Festival of Lights, is a Hindu holiday, a joyful and beautiful celebration of light triumphing over evil. Hoping this year that Diwali brings warmth and peace to your life; from all of us here at the Villa!
- Thanks to ‘Girls Rock! Rochester’ for having us at their Trick or Treat event at Village Gate. We had a great time and met a lot of other phenomenal community partners! #HAPPYHALLOWEEN from the Villa!
