About us
Viridian is a biopharmaceutical company focused on engineering and developing potential best-in-class medicines for patients with serious and rare diseases. Viridian’s expertise in antibody discovery and protein engineering enables the development of differentiated therapeutic candidates for previously validated drug targets in commercially established disease areas. Viridian is advancing multiple candidates in the clinic for the treatment of patients with thyroid eye disease (TED). The company is conducting two global Phase 3 clinical trials (THRIVE and THRIVE-2) to evaluate the safety and efficacy of VRDN-001 in patients with active and chronic TED. Viridian’s goal is to advance VRDN-001 as a potential best-in-class intravenous therapy followed by VRDN-003 as a potential first- and best-in-class subcutaneous therapy for the treatment of TED. In addition to its TED portfolio, Viridian is advancing a novel portfolio of neonatal Fc receptor (FcRn) inhibitors, including VRDN-006 and VRDN-008, which has the potential to be developed in multiple autoimmune diseases.

TFI held its Annual General Meeting on September 5-6 in Athens, Greece in connection with the European Thyroid Association - two inspiring days with members from all over the world either in person or online: Finland, France, Spain, Italy, the Philippines, Bulgaria, Croatia, Serbia, Nigeria, Ghana, Germany, Canada, Sweden, Norway, Hungary. We’re excited to announce that Viridian Therapeutics, Inc. has recently joined Life Science Cares Boston's Network of Good as a Corporate Partner! And they are diving right in to giving back by hosting a back pack drive where they will put together hundreds of backpacks for students not just here in Greater Boston, but with their remote and Boulder-based employees as well! We are thrilled to have Viridian join us in the disruption of the cycle of poverty and inequality in our community! LSC Boston is a nonprofit that activates the financial and human capital of the life sciences industry and partners with nonprofits to disrupt the cycle of poverty and inequality in our communities. LSC Boston envisions all of our neighbors having access to basic needs, access to education, and access to opportunity. Viridian has made a community investment to LSC Boston, which through their grantmaking, helps provide funding to LSC Boston’s 32 nonprofit partners.
