Our thoughts are with our associates, customers and members experiencing the devastating impacts of Hurricane Helene. We have been working closely with local leaders and organizations to assess needs, support associates and deliver donations of supplies to organizations supporting relief efforts. Walmart, Sam's Club and the Walmart Foundation are committing up to 6millioninsupportofhurricanereliefefforts,includingdonationsoffood,water,essentialsuppliesandgrants,aswellasmatchingcustomerdonations1:1,upto6 million in support of hurricane relief efforts, including donations of food, water, essential supplies and grants, as well as matching customer donations 1:1, up to 6millioninsupportofhurricanereliefefforts,includingdonationsoffood,water,essentialsuppliesandgrants,aswellasmatchingcustomerdonations1:1,upto2.5 million, when they donate to support hurricane relief at the registers in stores and clubs and on walmart.com starting next week. We’re also working with nonprofits and suppliers to bring much-needed resources into communities without access to power, such as free meals, WiFi hotspots, charging stations and laundry and shower services. Throughout the recovery, we'll continue looking for ways to support our associates and communities we serve. Great first day at Walmart's 11th annual Open Call! It always inspires me to witness the passion, creativity, and innovation suppliers that come to Open Call bring to the table. And what a treat to have entrepreneur, investor and "Shark Tank" star Daymond John speak to the group and share some best practices on entrepreneurship. For our largest sourcing event of the year, Open Call invites businesses from across America to pitch their products made, grown or assembled in the U.S. to be sold on Walmart or Sam's Club shelves or online. This year, we invited over hundreds of finalists from 48 states, as well as D.C. and Puerto Rico, to Bentonville to meet with our merchants. One exciting add this year: For the first time, we've invited Walmart merchants from Canada and Mexico to Open Call, creating an opportunity for suppliers to export their U.S. products to these international markets. This will help suppliers expand to create more jobs, open new manufacturing facilities and reach new customers. And let the fun begin tomorrow – hearing pitches and giving golden tickets to our future suppliers.#WalmartOpenCall
