Waste Pro was proud to sponsor the Battle of the Bay, partnering with Keep Pinellas Beautiful and Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful! Volunteers gathered and removed over 5,000 pounds of trash from the beaches surrounding Tampa Bay. This past Saturday, Keep Pinellas Beautiful and Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful competed in Battle for the Bay! 🌊 Thanks to our 171 KPB volunteers, 2,384 pounds of garbage were removed at South Gandy Beach and 4th Street, and together in the end, KPB and KTBB removed 5,200 pounds of garbage from entering the Tampa Bay. 🗑 Congratulations to Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful for winning the battle and a special thank you to Phade and Waste Pro for sponsoring this event! 🚛#InternationalCoastalCleanUp #beachcleanup #ICC #KeepPinellasBeautiful #KPB #PinellasCounty #BattlefortheBay
