Did you know that Wohlsen built the Mulberry Art Studios, a bustling creative studio and event space in Downtown Lancaster? First, let’s explore the origin of this location! Our founder, Herman F. Wohlsen, built a residence and storefront at 255 W. King Street (inset), with a baking facility in the rear. These buildings were constructed for local baker Christian Gunzenhauser, who brought his business back to Lancaster at the start of the 1900s. This historic building still stands today!
