The climate crisis is shrinking water reserves, making clean water increasingly scarce. The impacts of water insecurity—whether from drought, flooding, or contamination—are growing more severe. Through Xylem Watermark, Xylem and Mercy Corps have partnered for more than 15 years to respond to water, sanitation, and hygiene needs after disaster strikes. In Jordan, one of the world’s most water-scarce countries, we worked with local organizations, farmers, youth, and government to increase water security, food security, and economic opportunities for farmers. Our successful pilot project in Zubaireya Village can now be replicated across the country. alm Xylem Watermark's significant support of Mercy Corps’ Climate: Possible campaign enables Mercy Corps to expand our impact and create lasting climate resilience around the world.
