Last week in Dubai was fantastic, attending the YPO's first time ever Global Business Summit alongside over 1,000 ypoers from around the world. With over $26 billion in transactions, thousands of needs and leads generated, and countless new personal connections made, it was an incredible experience. I thoroughly enjoyed the Needs and Leads Rapid Fire, Super Connector and World Cafe breakout sessions. My takeaway? The more you put in, the more you get out.

🌍 YPO GBS 2024 Dubai – Unprecedented and Unforgettable 🌍 For the first time, YPO went all-in on deals and business. Over 1,100 YPO members from every corner of the globe joined the 2024 YPO Global Business Summit in Dubai. The experience was truly one of a kind. $26.8 billion in deals brought to the table 💼, thousands of connections made in a setting that was kind of a pressure cooker for business opportunities 😉. Dubai was a fitting location. The welcome and support by the goverment was extraordinary - absolutely extraordinary. We had the pleasure to hear first hand what future plans are in the making and it will be stunning🚀. Difficult to imagine we find another place with such daring vision for the future and similar business friendliness. A huge thank you to the organizing team for making this happen! 🙌 Managing >1000 YPOers is no easy task. Morevover, managing to make it feel 'homely' and enable the connections was super. My fellow YPOers from the Dubai chapters even graciously opened their homes for evening gatherings, taking our connections beyond business. "This past year stretched me in ways I never expected… and taught me so much more than I could have imagined." I thought I knew what it meant to lead, to build a company, and to balance the personal with the professional. But then life stepped in to remind me there was still so much to learn. As CEO of Maestro Media, I was prepared for growth, but nothing prepared me for the challenges that came with it. That’s when my YPO forum stepped in. I wrestled with decisions that seemed impossible—from navigating financial pressures to shaping a vision that could carry Maestro forward. And then there were the personal moments: balancing ambition with family, the doubts that crept in during sleepless nights, the weight of responsibility paired with the vulnerability that comes with it. Recently, we gathered for a retreat in Gazelle, California, hosted by the incredible Katy (Kvalvik) Gala and Dr. Thaddeus Gala at their Aura Center. It was a powerful reminder of the strength that comes from true community. To my YPO brothers, thank you. I am beyond grateful for the safe space we share, for your empathy, wisdom, and support.
