• Yoav Schoss “In TAMID@USC, Alejandro was on my SpaceIL consulting team. TAMID is a student organization that provides consulting for Israeli companies. SpaceIL is a non-profit that will land a robotic craft on the Moon, and is a competitor in the Google Lunar X-Prize (GLXP). Our project goal was to complete competitive analysis of other GLXP teams. Our approach to the project was to individually research certain aspects of GLXP teams, such as technological development, media presence, and major funders. We would then meet and discuss the data, and make conclusions together. During these discussions, Alejandro provided something unique, in that he was always able to look at a problem from various angles, and was integral in making the rest of the team aware of such angles. He was perceptive, as he would quickly pick up what important discussion points the team had not reached. Alejandro is creative. He is both a musician and engineer. That concoction allows him to understand problems deeply, while providing solutions that others simply would not have thought of. Starting a business means stepping into the unknown. The problems one runs into are unpredictable, and require quick, inventive thinking to surpass. Alejandro has the perceptiveness to spot problems, the engineering mind to pick them apart, and the creativity to conjure solutions.”
