Don't network, connect! (Entrepreneur, Community Builder, Content Creator)

So many of us struggle to progress our careers and businesses because of a lack of connection... No access to mentors, advisors or people who have 'been there, done that' to help guide us and focus our efforts. Which is so frustrating! I've always worked hard... But it takes the same amount of hard work to build a good, successful business as it does to build one that ends up failing... That's why it hurts so much when a business fails. Because we pour our heart, soul and identity into it. Only to see it crumble... Sharing challenges with people who 'get it' and learning from their experiences has been the only way I've ever managed to work smart. Everything changed when I became CEO of Foundrs - the UK's most tightly knit community of 400 entrepreneurs Suddenly I was in the most progressive, intelligent and ambitious rooms with world-class entrepreneurs sharing deep insights. And that connection and learning experience energised and focused me more than anything else. Which is why I started this podcast. To help ambitious entrepreneurs connect and learn from the best of the best. To help you understand the people side of business. To help you focus your energy for success. Which is why I'm so energised, proud, and sh*t scared to announce... The launch of my podcast today! (on my birthday) Starting with the cofounder of Shazam, Dhiraj Mukherjee (link in the comments) And if I were to ask for one gift from you today, it would be... FEEDBACK! I've been working in a silo for too long Now I need to hear from you. The questions I'd love you to answer in the Youtube Comments section are: 1. What story / lesson did you find most useful? 2. What could improve? (please be as brutal as possible) Thanks so much for your support so far. We're just getting warmed up! - - - Follow AJ . for more interviews from epic entrepreneurs Comment an entrepreneur who you'd love to learn from
