Tried AI Phone Calls? 👉

Rather than handling customer service calls, could we use Bland like a super answering machine, if all CS lines are in use, a meeting or out of hours? Using Bland alongside our agents rather than in place of. I’d rather see Bland replace our voicemail system first. Is that possible?

Isn’t there an FCC law against AI Robo calls?

yeah, it all sounds good that But can you find me an AI who can actually answer a difficult question without saying oh I can’t answer that! Find me an AI that when “ oh if you can’t answer it, “ please put me through to your superior. Find me an AI that actually performs like a competent human not like somebody who’s programmed to specifically point you in a certain direction. The problem with AI is fundamentally in its name. Its ARYOFOCIAL HUMAN intelligence requires a sense of human compassion, connectivity, and understanding not just logic. This is what’s missing.!! Many people who answer the phones at the moment are actually acting like AI rather than benefiting from their enormous power of empathy and compassion ,something that is not programmed into AI effectively. No matter how good an AI is, no matter how good a service provide a telephone operator is, if they are not given the freedom to actually help the customer solve their problem. They are useless. All they do is create frustration. Please bear this in mind. Having said that the way Apple does customer service with real human beings who respond back to you as an individual. O WORLD CLASS Don’t forget, it’s US humans that solve problems with technology.

All good other than support. No option for support

I think it's a fantastic idea! The point is to get the help, advice, or whatever information or service completed or accomplished. Whether a human gives the assistance or this AI tool, the benefit is delivered. Humans can then be allowed to develop more advanced skills, like the support or troubleshooting for this tool.

Turn-taking is hard to get right with speech to speech AI, but they do really well at this. I’ve also been really impressed with its ability to have rich and meaningful conversations. I tested to see if it could do a brief motivational intervention for someone with diabetes who is trying to establish the habit of walking for 20 minutes after dinner every day. It did really well! My colleagues and I were pretty blown away. I hate getting spam calls, but if used responsibly, I think this has the potential to do a lot of good in the world.

How does it ensure it is environmentally friendly and not using valuable water resources and other?
