This week, I joined EL AL Israel Airlines employees who volunteered for a special project, packing food baskets in collaboration with the 'Shuvu Achim' organization. This organization, which was established by a pre-military academy focused on social action, works to support families and vulnerable populations across all sectors of Israeli society. The baskets we packed are intended for a wide range of individuals in need of support during these times: evacuees from combat zones, lone soldiers, wives of reservists, and newly bereaved widows of fallen IDF soldiers who have recently joined the bereaved families community. The connection between employees, the sense of shared purpose, and the knowledge that we are contributing to society—these all strengthen our organizational culture and remind us of the true meaning of being part of the El Al family. At El Al, we believe that social responsibility is an integral part of our DNA. It's not just what we do; it's who we are.
