Last Friday, November 8th, 2024 I had the pleasure of attending the 10th annual Women in Technology: Hollywood (WiTH)’s Leadership Summit, collocated with the Infinity Festival at the historic Avalon. Set in the iconic heart of Hollywood, this year’s summit served as a powerful testament to the impact of collective action, advocacy, and mentorship for women in technology and leadership. From start to finish, the event delivered a world-class experience—it's now firmly in my top ten must-attend conferences. I was inspired by the thoughtful narrative woven by the WITH board, that focused on highlighting the past, present and future of technology, exploring ways for women to excel in this exciting but underrepresented industry. The event was dedicated to Cass Warner, and her spirit was woven throughout the agenda with a theme of the need for service and support for the WITH community. The keynotes, panels and awards showcased prominent technology leaders, but also supported rising stars in the technology industry. The award session was an inspiration for all current and future women leaders in technology. The final surprise award to Guy Finley was a testament to the support he has provided to WITH since their inception.
