I unearthed this oldie, but goodie the other day in my attic. (We were preparing for a yard sale.) Digitas was a great experience, but Bronner was incomparable. I consider myself very fortunate to have joined Bronner Slosberg Humphrey a year before the Bronnercom and Digitas change overs. The ambient expertise and the opportunity to absorb knowledge was similar, but the Bronner esprit de corps was like nothing else I have ever experienced. I owe my place there to Leslie Troy Tsui, who hired me, and also the positive reception I received from Don Hurwitz. (I can recall discussing empirical data with him.) I am forever grateful. I was let go from Digitas during the summer of 2004 and, unlike most, was asked to stay on through Labor Day to finish client work. On my second to last day, I ran into Leslie in the mall (Prudential office era) with whom I had a chat and from whom I received a hug goodbye. It was a cool, full-circle moment that felt like a 21-gun salute.
