Last night at my son's state fair, I saw the magic of teamwork in action! 🌟 The kids absolutely rocked it, showing up as a united team. They spoke confidently in front of a whole gym of people (!!), cheered each other on, and nailed their presentations. It reminded me of 3 key areas for building a high-performing team: 1. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤: When we work together and support one another, we can achieve incredible things. 2. 𝐄𝐦𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐍𝐞𝐰: Believing in yourself and each other makes tackling new challenges exciting and rewarding. 3. 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭: Having a leader who guides, believes in, and pushes you is essential. And the fun celebration afterward, with food from each state, was a fantastic bonus! 🎉 Looking for your team to shine like this and you're not sure how? DM me to find out how I can help you and your team show up in a united way, embrace new challenges, and achieve greatness together. PS. My son's state was Colorado and he dressed up as Cale Makar from the Colorado Avalanche 🏒 (And he threw on ski goggles for fun 😄)

If you're struggling read this I wasn’t always “The Myron Golden” who was winning 2 Comma Club X awards from Russell Brunson. I got here because I decided no matter what, I was going to live in MY God given assignment. I was going to be who God made me to be. I am going to do what he called me to do. Some people are going to like it. Some people are going to hate it. My job is not to please people and serve myself. My job is to please God and serve people. I'm gonna do it if it makes me a lot of money or if I end up living under a bridge. I'm going to do what God put me here. I'm going to keep fulfilling my purpose and let that take me where only that can take me If you are struggling remember to focus on your assignment and I promise you will end up exactly where you need to be. I had the pleasure of recently speaking at the Euroleague Basketball MBA programme in Berlin. Thanks again to Miguel Ferreira and Vincenzo Di Giuseppe for the kind invitation. Here were my three career takeaways from the chat. 1. On Patience and Obsession: "You need to be a bit obsessive. Everyone can tell you to follow your passion and find your dream quickly, but the truth is, it’s very difficult. You'll need patience, and it will take time. This doesn't sell books or dreams in the short term, but it’s the old-fashioned story that holds true." 2. On Consistency: "Consistency beats intensity. It’s not about being intensely focused for a short burst; it’s about making small, manageable changes and doing them consistently over a long period. The real competitive advantage is the ability to do something for 10 minutes a day for one year—something almost no one can sustain." 3. On Building Relationships: "When you’re trying to build a relationship with someone, get them to talk about themselves. People love speaking about themselves. Ask open-ended questions and listen. The power of listening is massively undersold. Start with one relationship, one interaction, and then scale it to many. This fundamentally changes your approach to how you deal with people on a day-to-day basis."https://lnkd.in/eQYwV2xf

Taking care of our health is essential for overall well-being and success. Prioritising our physical and mental well-being is crucial for achieving our goals and living a fulfilling life. This is especially true for women, who often juggle multiple responsibilities and roles and as such have to work twice as hard to achieve similar goals with their male counterparts. It is important for women to take the time to prioritize their health, both physically and mentally, in order to be able to excel in their careers, relationships, and personal endeavors. By investing in our health, we are investing in our wealth and future success. We must remember to make self-care a priority and not neglect our own well-being in the pursuit of other goals. Join my colleagues and i as we share this and more at the round table tomorrow. #shecan #Selfcare #Whatwomenwant

A FEW LIFE AND CAREER LESSONS I’VE LEARNED FROM WEDDINGS (Part 2) The small things are actually the big things 🏰 I got married in France and I knew that having a week-long celebration abroad could be a big ask for our guests. I wanted to show my appreciation, so I wrote each guest a personalised (of course!) thank you card on their place setting, sharing how much they meant to us and how grateful we were to have them share our special day. We also decorated the table numbers with photos of each guest seated at that table. 🙏 My lesson here?....even though the big event or the job/career may be yours, it wouldn’t be the same without those supporting you and I honestly believe that you can never show too much appreciation and gratitude, and it doesn’t always have to be a general thank you. In our careers, these small, personalised gestures can make a big difference. Taking the time to show and appreciate the contributions, thoughts, support or actions of others surely can lead to more positivity. Whether it’s a heartfelt handwritten note, a shout out in a meeting, or a simple “thank you, here's a coffee” this can really strengthen relationships and boost everyone’s mood. Go on, show your appreciation in a meaningful way….and if it’s personalised and handwritten, even better!! #SmallGestures #Appreciation #Gratitude #career #GainLine Rugby Players Association

I recently joined the 5 am Club. This has been one of the best Life Changing decisions I have made. Thank you Milton Kamwendo for inspiring me. I want to take this opportunity to share a quote from Wilbur Wright " What one man can do himself directly is but little. if however he can stir up ten others to take up the task he has accomplished much"

The final (virtual) part of induction is over and my head is buzzing with all I have learnt and observed. The People Puzzles induction is principally aimed at our team of People Directors, providing an immersive experience of how the team go about helping new clients achieve high growth using our proven tools and resources. These were brilliantly demonstrated by Alison Hilton and Shaun O'Hara. I found it particularly useful to observe how quickly our two new team members, Jules Gordon and Rachel Smith-Bingham, absorbed data based on a Discovery exercise, pulled out the key areas for adding value and presented a step by step plan for that company to achieve its goals and objectives. This is what our team do and it was fascinating to watch the process from start to finish. I now have a much better understanding of the People Puzzles product! Thank you to all involved, not forgetting Helen Stenhouse, Alex Kinchin-Smith, Liz Cobbold FCIM, Rose Ann P., Katy Stenhouse, Claudia Gunter, Penny Price, Mark Eaton, Jennifer Huckstep, James Lloyd who all made induction such a success and an enjoyable experience.https://lnkd.in/e9Yh5pYV #alwayslearning #businessgrowth #businessstrategy #collaboration #cpd #fractionalHR #highperformance #knowledgesharing #smegrowth #strategicHR #thankyouteam #team #trustedpeopleexperts
