Today, we announced that we have made the difficult decision to streamline Beam’s business operations, which includes reducing our workforce and a prioritization of our pipeline programs. From the beginning, our team has done an exceptional job creating diversified programs and technologies with the goal of helping as many patients as possible. Nonetheless, in these challenging financial markets, we have to make hard choices about where we focus our limited resources. Our discovery platform will still be very active in supporting long term innovation at Beam, but we are not able to advance every idea ourselves.
