Happy, excited, proud, a bit nervous, and very grateful as I get off the train @ Union Station in our nation's capital for my 1st day at work in the role as Chief Executive Officer of The National Alliance for Care at Home (https://lnkd.in/eZ6npFnk). This is the newly formed organization that's been created from the coming together of two incredible teams: National Association for Home Care & Hospice and NHPCO Hospice and Palliative Care Organization. To have a truly compassionate, high quality, and cost-effective healthcare system---and, to have a truly caring society that promotes independence, dignity, fairness, honors our elders, comforts our most vulnerable, and keeps families in-tact---there is no more important cause than ensuring a vibrant, growing, well-resourced, and high-integrity care at home industry. I'm eager to work and serve alongside all of you as we fight for a bright future for home care, hospice, home health, palliative care, and new and emerging care at home services. The future is bright!
