Costco begins selling platinum bars

The wholesale retailer has added a new precious metal to its stores, a platinum. We have talked about time and time again that Costco has been very successful in selling gold bars and selling silver coins, something that has been mentioned by executives on their most recent earnings call. So now they're doing it with platinum bars and you're looking at a price tag of just about just under $1100 here, 1 oz Canada Maple Leaf platinum coins selling for the same price, both carrying a premium markup of about 94 bucks. But if it's anything like the demand that we've seen for their gold. Cars like we seen for their silver coins. This could be a huge hit here for Costco.
