We had an inspiring start to the Call for Code Global Challenge 2024! 🌍💡 Like every year, so far we've seen over 1,000 new developers and experienced innovators come together with immense enthusiasm to tackle some of the world's most pressing issues using the power of technology. From climate action to disaster resilience, the ideas shared have truly showcased how tech for good, including Generative AI, can drive meaningful solutions. At the event, Dr. Anand Deshpande - Persistent's Founder, Chairman and Managing Director - emphasized how technology can impact real-life challenges, and Sonali Deshpande - Chief Trustee and Chairperson - shared insights on the Persistent Foundation's contributions to community well-being and society. Additionally, Harish Daware's presentation on the impact of the Watershed Organisation Trust (WOTR) on sustainable development and inclusive growth was an eye-opener for all present. We thank our #IBM and #CallforCode partners Soumitra Limaye, Jo Ann H. Hill and Shiva Shenoi for their invaluable collaboration and support in making this third consecutive event a success. We wish our incredible participants all the best as they refine their groundbreaking ideas. Your passion drives real-world impact, and we're excited to see what comes next! - IBM Security Guardium protects structured and unstructured data in databases, big data environments, and file systems against threats, ensuring compliance. Guardium collects monitored data, which passes through a policy filter and is stored as activity, exceptions, policy violations, and more. This data is then available via Guardium tools, such as reports and dashboards, and can generate alerts. While this data is useful for compliance purposes, to provide real security, it needs to filter out the noise and focus on actual threats.
