Accounts with Professional package of service help keep LiveJournal in business. To show appreciation for users who have made contributions, a number of premium features are only available to users with accounts with Professional package of services.

All accounts with Professional package of service can access these features:

• Styles:

  • Professional badge beside the username. You can toggle its display in the account settings in the Display tab;

  • Ability to have exact control over your journal's layout by creating custom styles;

  • Access to Premium styles;

  • Access to all options in the S2 customization wizards and the Advanced Customization area;

  • Access to 500 links in your link list;

• Userpics:

  • Access to 30 userpics.

  • Ability to purchase up to 210 additional userpics.

  • Note: Although communities with accounts with Professional package of service are given more userpics and can have add-on userpic space, neither maintainers nor members can select the userpics when posting entries;

• Advertisement:

  • Ability to view your own journal without ads while logged in.

  • Ability to display your journal to all logged in visitors without ads.

  • Ability to view the journals of others without ads while logged in.

  • Ability to view other site pages without seeing most ads from external advertisers. (Promotions for LiveJournal entries, goods and services will still be visible, as will certain items like links to sponsored communities.)

• Access to the complete range of options for embedding your journal into your home page and the reverse ability to set up domain forwarding, so that your domain points to your LiveJournal;

• Ability to see up to 100 recent comments;

• Access to your Friends of Friends list: https://exampleusername.livejournal.com/friendsfriends/

• Ability to filter entries according to security when viewing your journal, as well as when viewing other journals.

• Personal filter by keywords for the comments.

The following features are available to communities with account with Professional package of service:

• Moderated communities can have larger moderation queue per user

• Owner and maintainer of community can send letters (mass mailing) for its members.

The following features only apply to personal accounts with Professional package of service, and cannot be accessed using a community with an account with Professional package of service:

• 100 Gb of storage space for Scrapbook pictures and videos

• Access to the Directory of LiveJournal users;

• Ability to create new syndicated accounts;

• Ability to view popular users amongst your friends;

• Ability to add up to 2000 users to your Friends list, instead of 1000 as permitted for accounts without additional packages.

• Ability to subscribe to a wide variety of event types;

• Ability to have more total subscriptions than accounts without additional packages.

• Ability to add notes for users.

You can buy an account with Professional package of service for yourself with automatic payments (automatic credit card payments according to your preferred billing cycle) or a manual payment at the LiveJournal Gift Shop. The 1399₽ a year price for accounts with Professional package of service is only available with automatic payments.
