1:16AM - I want teh powa!

Ok, so i'm going to start modding the new car in the near future. For those of you that don't know, i've recently purchased a '04 Mazdaspeed Miata. It's the only year model that came with a factory turbo(actually the '05 might have as well...).

I'm thinking my first mod will be the Flyin' Miata complete intake kit:

This kit will give me a gain of about 45hp and put me at around 190whp or 230hp at the crank on a 2350lb car(which is about 500lbs lighter than the average car with that much hp). Not to mention it will smooth out the boost spike and make it more manageable as a daily driver.

After that my next big step will be one big kit, it will give me basically everything else i'll need to bring the power up to 285hp while still keeping the car reliable and without having to touch the internals of the engine. Downpipe, mid-pipe, exhaust, intercooler, ECU, and injectors.

3:46PM - Everything's going my way!!

Ok, so we're all moved in now, we just are waiting for all the renovations to be completed. That's a pain in the ass because we're pretty much without a kitchen for the next month and our living room is all chaotic since we havn't gotten the tile put in yet.

Well, I am uber excited about my new job! I am now the executive salesman(which means i'm the only salesman representing the company) for Green Heron Landscaping Co. I started monday which was pretty much just for me to be introduced around the office a little bit and for my boss to clarify all my benefits ect. It's a base salary of 28k a year plus all my commissions. I get 10% of all the sales for any given month, to give an example... the sales goal for this month was $40,000 and I would get 10% of that, so that would be an additional 4k on top of my salary. One of the great things about it is that they are giving me so many extra benefits too... they are giving me a gas card to pay for all my gas, they are puting me under the company car insurance policy so I don't have to pay for that, I am getting a company cell phone, a company laptop AND they are paying my car payment as well! With all of that combined that puts me at about 70-75k a year. I'm so excited, the company seems great and everyone I met seems very nice. They are going to train me and I can't wait to get out there and sell again!

Well, I guess I got a little carried away there about that job... I guess my excitement shows... heh

So it's nice to be in ft. myers, there is so much stuff all in such a short drive, the mall is close as well as the movies and the pool hall. It'll also be nice to hang out with my friends up here from FGCU and others that just live up here since I never got the chance to hang out with them in like forever.
