| | Wednesday, May 23rd, 2012 10:33 pm I'm not taking colleges classes right now, but I am taking an ArtsNow class about paranormal investigations. Yes, ghost hunting. I figured the instructor could use a skeptic in the class.Tomorrow evening we actually get to go on an investigation in an historic house in Port Gamble. I only felt one little jostle, and the house making that house-grunt noise. At first I thought my dad did something to cause it. Heh. He didn't feel it, and now he's disappointed. Their larvae make little tube casings for themselves out of whatever they find on the pond floor, which is usually pebbles, sand, and bits of wood.When you put them in an aquarium full of beads, pearls, bits of gold, and other lovely things, well, they'll make do.And maybe make some nice jewelry, too.Freakin' amazing.My brother found one of those buggers- the humdrum sandy type- in our backyard creek several years back. We had no idea what it was then. Now that I know how adorable they are, I think I'll have to go poking around out there sometime soon. It was just too much and I'm just too burned out on school. I'm registered for Fall quarter to take History 33 (US History from Civil War to Civil Rights Movement) and Anthropology 100.Just, y'know.
