Hey everyone -- I ordered two of the Elin Elementalist (Mystic) figures from www.e2046.com/product/15486
And just wanted to share the progress of the painted version :>

This photo is horrible and butchers the colors D:
I’ve gradated the tips of her hair and tail (after this pic was taken). She’s got a blush of pink on her knees, feet, shoulders, and cheeks. And I’ve also painted her ears the same color as her hair since this was taken. Figure stands about 28cm/11in tall :D Gonna have her outfit a tealish color. Going to be using an Antique Gold Rub n’ Buff for the golden bits on her clothes and staff (not pictured)
All in all, the figure has about 20 parts (none of the parts int he pic have been glued yet) and I had to cut off and sand the excess flash resin on every single one of them lol. Spent about 3 hours yesterday prepping them and applying gesso. Today I've done the skin and hair. Waiting for my detailing brushes to arrive before I tackle the eyes and such :>

:) At ~40 pounds lost now. Halfway to my bikini goal! I did gain some back while I was in New York a week ago and due to Thanksgiving, but I've been working hard to get rid of those couple pounds!
My sister gave me a nice sweater/shirt of hers that was a little bit too big for her, but fits perfectly on me :D And it's a MEDIUM! ...A medium that's on the bigger side, but it still says M >:O l

Did a drawing for my sister for her upcoming birthday of her daughter Haden :> I rarely ever do portraits but I think it turned out all right. I'm getting it framed at work so I can give it to her later this month :> Just couldn't keep it to myself in the meantime.
She's got the biggest baby cheeks ever
Blegh... hope I get these tests results back soon >_< Had to leave work early today cuz I had a fever and my guts were killing me. This has been going on for at least 7 months now that I've been aware of it... Should have results Tues or Wed D:

:D yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyy. I commissioned a custom plush from morumoto.deviantart.com/ of my guinea pig Kishi, who died last month from a tumor. She did a wonderful job and it looks just like him!

Seems pretty optimistic and positive. Six of Cups has been a recurring card throughout a lot of my personal readings on this, showing up pretty much every time in either 6th, 9th, or 10th.
