Had some good times here. 4/17/18 11:16 pm Minor ponderance as I'm watching Alien: Covenant - Mother sends the alert that a neutrino burst has been detected, fair enough. I'm not a particle astro physicist, so how would you know a neutrino burst has occurred before it actually reached your ship? And could neutrinos damage anything in the first place? 2/27/18 02:21 am Spooky goings on here this morning. Got up, as usual, used the bathroom then on to the kitchen. Time was about 8am. Mooched down the hall to the kitchen and, just as I got to the door the old mechanical egg timer went off. It's one of those where you twist the top and it measures up to an hour and rings the end. It's on top of the fridge, right at the back behind a large ceramic bowl full of chargers and stuff, because it hasn't been used in ages. I wasn't even sure if it still worked. Mum certainly couldn't reach it and no one else is here. So, my question is, why did it ring? 12/24/17 10:45 pm Thanks everyone who replied to my last post. Who is still reading me? 2/17/17 11:31 pm At last, finally able to post again.Several weeks ago, I logged in and received a message telling me that my account had been "unverified" due to some email problem. I needed to request an authority email containing the link to click etc. but it didn't work. Tried again yesterday and it works, and now my account is open again.
